Please be sure you can meet the following technical requirements prior to purchasing the course.
UpTrend Course
The UpTrend course is comprised of online videos and downloadable Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) files. To complete the course you will need a good internet connection, and Microsoft Excel. The exam is based on Excel 2019. If you are using Office 365 to open Excel, you will notice slight differences between the Office 2019 and Office 365.
GMetrix / CertPrep
GMetrix / CertPrep is a certification preparation resource and is the best way to prepare for the Excel Certification Exam. It utilizes 2 practice exams in 2 modes - training mode & testing mode. Taking these practice tests will not only provide excellent preparation, but also acclimate you to the Certiport Excel Specialist testing environment.
GMetrix / CertPrep requires you to download a GMetrix Skills Management System (SMS). This is a small Windows-based file that includes practice material for the Microsoft Excel practice tests. Please note that this software cannot be downloaded on a Mac. A Windows-based computer must be used.

Certiport Excel Certification Exam
The Exam offered by the UpTrend course is the Office 2019 Excel Specialist exam. The online exam, called "Exams-from-Home", is offered by Certiport who is an authorized provider of MOS Exams. UpTrend is an authorized Testing Center for Certiport, and we will schedule the exam for you based on your availability. UpTrend will also provide a remote proctor during the exam who will meet with you on a Zoom call to administer the exam. The exam requires you to download a small file just prior to taking the exam.
